SAFETY BELT HARNESS - Our dogs love to ride and there is always the chance that they might get scared and jump out of the truck or thrown if there is an accident. Safety Belt Harnesses are like regular harnesses except they have a short lease like strap that has a buckle on it that can be buckled in, just like a seat belt. Your dog is safe from any mishaps and you have the comfort to know you are keeping your best friend safe. Available in most pet store for a very reasonable price. We won't let the dogs ride without them.
THUNDER SHIRTS are a new wonderful way to comfort your dog. If your dog is afraid of loud noises (thunder, fireworks) or has a barking problem. Thunder shirts are the way to go. They apply a gentle constant pressure to your dog to soothe them, like being held in your arms. They are available at most pet stores and are very reasonably priced.
Due to the numerous recalls of dog treats, especially the ones made in China, I would advise not buying them. I now make my own dog treats. They contain no preservatives or chemicals and are all natural. They need to be refrigerated due to no preservatives. For recipes, Google dog treats. There are numerous ones to choose from. Try out several and see which ones appeal to your dogs. To fancy them up, I bought dog bone cookie cutters on Amazon. My dogs are different sizes, so I have a cookie cutter in the size appropriate for each dog. Have fun with this and your dogs will love you for it.
To keep your dog's coat nice and shiny, feed them cooked carrots with a tablespoon of bacon grease mixed in. I use my food processor and shred 2 carrots per dog. Then I zap them in the microwave with a wee bit of water until they are soft. Then I mix in a tablespoon of bacon grease. Let the carrots cool completely. Divide into bowls and serve.
I swear my dogs know when it is Saturday - that is carrot day.

PUMPKIN - If your dog or puppy has an upset stomach. Feed them 1 cup of pumpkin puree. If they are still experiencing difficulties. Feed them another cup of pumpkin puree about 3 hours later. Use pumpkin puree NOT pumpkin pie mix - the spices in the pie mix will exacerbate the situation. If the problem does not go away, call your vet.
